In this section of The Artifact, stories are told as prompted by a single image. A ten minute timer will be set and a very brief story will be told based on the image or to describe the scene in the image. I encourage you to participate in this fun exercise by doing the same - set a ten minute timer, write your flash fiction, post it to your publication, and then share a link to it in the comments.

This section of The Artifact is dedicated to short stories. These are stories that are at least 1,000 words in length but are not specifically part of an ongoing serial. You'll be able to read and enjoy these as stand-alone stories.
