The Artifact is a collection of original short stories written and narrated by David Sheley.

In this section of The Artifact, stories are told as prompted by a single image. A ten minute timer will be set and a very brief story will be told based on the image or to describe the scene in the image. I encourage you to participate in this fun exercise by doing the same - set a ten minute timer, write your flash fiction, post it to your publication, and then share a link to it in the comments.
